Ask half of the population of children: brushing your teeth is not something a person has to do every day. Even some adults choose not to brush, and they are alive. Maybe even happy.

There is only one habit a person has to do every single day; it’s breathing. We can skip a day of eating, even drinking, reflection, sleeping, or planning. But we are gone after a few minutes without the oxygen.

Everyday Habits

But it is wise to take care of your body, mind, and spirit every single day. The specific habits are different for every person, but those three areas are common. If you don’t do everyday maintenance of them, you stop growing. And to stop growing is to start dying.

It’s not enough to take care of one or the other area. You need to take care of all three. They affect each other. You can have a man with vibrant health and a strong body, but if he doesn’t see the sense of his existence a suicide maybe his constant temptation.

Habits

So, there are many habits you may do every single day which will maintain your wellbeing. In the case of habits, maintenance means growth.

Exercise, drink water, eat natural foods, sleep for eight hours a day. Take walks in nature, eat raw fruits and vegetables, practice intermittent fasting, take naps when you feel like it.

Read books, pray, meditate, keep a journal. Follow specific blogs, podcasts, or YouTube channels. Read scriptures, visualize the brighter future, keep a gratitude journal, read your long-term plans, repeat your personal mission statement.

There are zillion ways to take care of your body, mind, and soul. Pick a few and make them your own. Every single day.

Oh, and do brush your teeth, good hygiene is always welcome.
