A Few Hacks to Become More Productive First Thing in the Morning

Preparation is half the productivity battle

Just a few ways, huh? OK, I’ll do my best.

1. Recall Your WHY

Every morning I repeat my personal mission statement. It helps me to narrow down my focus and find deep meaning in everyday trivia.

There are other methods to recall your why - looking at a vision board, reading your long-term plans, etc.

2. Have a Plan

Well, having even a single priority for the day is as beneficial as having a wholesome plan, especially if you aren’t in much control of your schedule (kids, spouse, employer…).

(my to-do items in my notepad)

It’s smart to set this priority an evening before or first thing in the morning. You need to be realistic about this. If you plan a day before for something robust, you need to reserve time in your schedule for this task. Otherwise setting a daily priority will be an exercise of futility and will frustrate you more than not having a plan at all.

3. Prepare Yourself
